Increasingly, developers are meeting the demands of lessees and committing to the provision of full-time, on-site porters. When the building opened in 2007, Encore's team of porters at The Belvedere was the first of its kind at any residential development in Cambridge. Since then, the team has grown from strength to strength in 2009, The Belvedere's building manager and head porter, Isy Barrett was named the UK's Best Porter.
