Encore is celebrating after being chosen by judges to receive the Residential Property Management Agent of the Year trophy for the second year in a row at the Midlands Residential Property Awards in Birmingham on 14 June. 

The Midlands based awards were judged by a panel of top property experts led by Richard Starkey, managing director of St Joseph Homes. He was helped in the decision-making by Will Grant, residential land and development director at JLL; Meredith Evans, chief executive of MADE; Julie Walters, Midlands manager for the National Federation of Builders; Dr Timothy Lee, real estate programme leader for Birmingham City University’s School for Built Environment and managing director of Taylor Wimpey Midlands, Roger Northam.

The judges remarked that they were “really impressed with the superb customer satisfaction ratings received by Encore from a really diverse group of developments and for some really high-profile clients”. 

Receiving the award on behalf of Encore, founding director Neil Robinson said: “We are delighted to receive this accolade for the second year running. We pride ourselves on providing good customer service across all the developments we manage in the Midlands, so it is great to see the judges recognising the importance of customer-led service in estate management. Our motto is that we care for every property as if we lived there ourselves; and this attention to detail was obviously appreciated by the judges.”

As the judges recognised, Encore has a portfolio of very different developments, and the company’s success is built on being able to offer a tailored service for every client – whether it’s simple grass cutting and maintenance on a rural housing estate or providing a full concierge service and managing top-end leisure facilities at a city centre apartment complex.

The Midlands Residential Property Awards is run by Insider Media and was compered by TV and radio presenter Colin Murray. The speaker for the evening was Ian Griffin, regional editor for Insider Magazine.
