Encore staff are celebrating after being Highly Commended in two categories of the prestigious ARMA ACE awards, announced at a black-tie awards dinner at London’s Tobacco Dock on Friday 6th July 2018.  The accolades were in the National/Largest Managing Agent category, and for the work of Encore concierge Ben Ashdown in the On-Site Staff Member of the Year award.

The ARMA ACE Awards are organised by the Association of Residential Managing Agents, the leading trade association for residential leasehold management in England and Wales, with the aim of celebrating excellence, achievement and professionalism across the industry. Encore also reached the shortlist for two further awards – Employer of the Year and Service Charge Accountant of the Year.

The National/Largest Managing Agent category was open only to major managing agents that are full ARMA Members responsible for more than 8,000 properties around the UK. The judges were looking for companies that could prove they had strategic vision, excellent staff training and development, and which focused on their clients’ needs to provide a professional service, good communication and value for money.

Encore faced tough competition in the category, but the judges said that Encore provided “a professional entry, where they had built their case around their five values”.

In the second category, On-Site Staff Member of the Year, the judges praised Ben Ashdown - concierge at King Edward VII Estate in Sussex - for the initiatives he introduced to the development, which they felt would help to create and sustain a thriving community among his residents. “He has a keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach,” the judges added.
