After a very busy few weeks of fundraising and sponsorship by Encore staff, clients and associates, we are pleased to have been able to donate around £500 to various good causes this month.

While staff in the Berkshire office held their own Macmillan coffee morning and prize raffle, other members of the team wore denim to work for Jeans for Genes Day – an annual event which raises much needed funds for Genetic Disorders UK. Run by a small team, Genetic Disorders UK aims to provide help and advice to families affected by genetic disorders.

Meanwhile, we were delighted to sponsor our friends at Data Energy and Berkeley Homes as they took part in the Berkeley68 challenge; running up 1,250 stairs to the top of Berkeley’s South Quay Plaza development in London’s Docklands and which raised more than £10,000 in total for the Berkeley Foundation.

And finally we were pleased to be able to sponsor The Taylor Wimpey Wanderers from Taylor Wimpey East Midlands as their team of five raised more than £15,000 taking part in the Housebuilder Mountain Marathon in aid of the Youth Adventure Trust. The Trust seeks to provide help and support to some of the UKs most vulnerable 11-16 year olds.
