Our commitment to always acting responsibly is a core part of why so many Residents’ Management Companies, developers and residents across the country trust and value our estate management. Acting responsibly is at the heart of everything we do: from taking the greatest care of the places people call ‘home’, to diligently looking after every penny of the finances for each estate.
Ensuring we look after the data entrusted to us, which enables us to carry out our jobs, is no different, which is why we’re proud to have secured our Cyber Essentials certification. Cyber Essentials is a government-backed, industry-supported scheme helping organisations of all sizes to protect themselves against the most common cyber threats.
“You can’t separate data, technology and systems from the work that we do. They’re fundamental to delivering a brilliant estate management service,” explains Joaquim Fillola, Encore CEO. “It’s natural that keeping data, technology and our systems secure is of the utmost importance to us.”
“We continuously invest in our cyber security, with our exceptional operations team making sure we’re ahead of the curve and doing all we can to keep data and systems safe. Data security isn’t a job that’s ever finished. It’s a process that needs to be constantly worked on and enhanced to deliver resilience and security.
“That’s why this Cyber Essentials certification is another great string to our bow. It not only demonstrates that, right now, we’re taking active measures to protect data and systems, but it’s also a scheme that’s annually renewable. Each year we will be ensuring we’re aligned with the technical controls designed to prevent the most common internet-based cyber security threats. It’s a commitment to be cyber secure now - and into the future as cyber threats evolve. And we know that’s incredibly important to the communities and clients we work with.”
