At Encore, we’re always working towards making things better – for residents, RMCs, developers and our colleagues. Eighteen months ago, we launched our bespoke resident app, Places, to make it easier for residents to connect with us – and for us to keep residents informed. Since launch, thousands of residents have been using the app, and we’ve continued to enhance it.

The app remains the easiest and fastest way to contact us. Whether you’re asking a question or reporting a repair, Places automatically routes your request to the right Encore team member, ensuring your query is tracked, actioned, and resolved efficiently.

This approach is far more effective than traditional email, which isn’t designed to manage workflow or task tracking. With Places, your queries and maintenance requests are handled through a dedicated helpdesk system, so nothing gets lost or delayed.

Through the app, you can stay informed about your development’s day-to-day news, updates and announcements – all in one place.

Push notifications mean that in the event of an urgent update or emergency, we can reach you quickly. This has become increasingly important as we continue to share essential information around building safety and compliance updates.

Part of an Integrated Platform

What makes Places so powerful is that it’s part of an integrated technology platform – not a standalone system. It manages assets, maintenance and compliance, enabling a truly end-to-end process for both clients and managers. This integration continues to be a key strength. From the moment a resident reports an issue, the platform allows it to be seamlessly turned into a works order or quotation request for a contractor, with real-time progress updates visible to residents.

All of our approved contractors operate within the same system – from receiving works orders to reporting progress and submitting invoices – ensuring a transparent, efficient process from start to finish.
