We take care of places as if we live there ourselves, always keeping in mind that we’re working with people and homes, and that we have the power to positively change individuals’ day-to-day lives. We might work in the property industry, but we’re in the business of working with people.
We’re proud to see that approach being celebrated with the Midlands Residential Property Awards shortlisting. As Joaquim Fillola, CEO here at Encore, explains, “awards like these are not just recognition for the fact we’re excelling in the field of property management. They show the hard work and expertise of our teams is making a real difference to people and the places they call home.
“As part of our awards submission we not only demonstrated how we excelled operationally over the last 12 months. We also showed how we’ve made a positive impact for the communities we work with.
“For our Midlands team based in Nottingham, that included dealing with the aftermath of a serious fire which led to the demolition and rebuilding of an apartment block, extensive cladding remediation and building safety works to another development, and taking on an estate that previously had poor experience with another managing agent and came with significant challenges as a result.
“Each of these examples shows the complexity of situations our people deal with; juggling safety legislation, emergency situations and historic issues. But ultimately each of us always has in mind that what we do has the power to positively impact people. Being named as finalists for the Resident Property Management Agent of the Year is testament to the fact that we’re getting that right, and every member of our Nottingham-based team - and those who support them across Encore - should be hugely proud of the difference they’ve made.”
The shortlisting announcement comes hot on the heels of Encore being named finalist in three categories at this year’s ACE Awards, further celebrating the brilliance of all our people. With Encore having won the title of Midlands Residential Property Management Agent of the Year six times since 2017, we’re proud of our continued success. As Joaquim adds, “it’s recognition of our consistently professional approach and the fact we’re leading the way for brilliance in property management across the region.”
Stay tuned to hear how we do at the awards ceremony on 25 June at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. We wish all those who have been shortlisted the best of luck. Congratulations on the recognition for all your hard work and contributions to the residential property industry across the region.
