Just as our first annual report showed no gender pay gap at Encore, our second shows the same to be true for 2024. In fact, women typically earn more than men at Encore, and they represent 47% of the top two pay quartiles within the company.

“To us, fair, transparent pay is simply good business. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to attract the best talent or create a high-performing, diverse workforce. But equality and inclusivity are also our responsibility as an employer, and we never take that lightly,” explains Encore CEO, Joaquim Fillola.
“We want Encore to be the best place our employees have ever worked, where their wellbeing is supported and they’re remunerated fairly.
“Our Gender Pay Gap Report is one way of showing we’re doing just that. Women play an integral role at all levels of the business, across all teams and divisions and we’re committed to creating a working environment that promotes equality and diversity.
“But we’re not stopping here. We’re continuing to listen to feedback from our teams, enhancing how we work and how we support our people. For example, we’ve launched menopause support in 2024, and we’re further strengthening our inclusive policies and training programmes.
“We’ve expanded our wellbeing framework - Encore Life - and enhanced leadership development to ensure our workplace promotes fairness and inclusivity. We’re looking at how we can appeal more to diverse talent too, refining our recruitment approach and more - because it’s vital to us that we get every part of the journey right with Encore.”
The report, using the calculation methodology set out by the Government’s Equality Office, shows the median and mean pay between men and women, including bonuses and distribution across pay quartiles across Encore. It is a legal requirement for all UK companies with over 250 employees to produce a Gender Pay Report, and demonstrates Encore’s confidence that we offer equal pay for equal work.
