The regeneration of Croydon

Encore is thrilled to have been appointed to manage Queen’s Quarter, an exciting new scheme designed by acclaimed architects which will deliver more than 500 new homes across four blocks as part of Croydon’s regeneration masterplan.

The development in East Croydon offers a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with private balconies and a communal terrace for residents with outstanding views of the area. The scheme will revitalise the nearby and well-loved Queen’s Garden public open space comprising areas of lawn with tress, a central fountain and a sunken garden area offering a beautiful place for residents to relax.

“As part of our mobilisation services, we have been creating on-site strategies and planning for occupation for the past 12 months, working in collaboration with the developer HUB, and various occupying partners including Croydon City Council, L&Q (shared ownership homes) and Legal & General (build-to-rent partner). We are really excited to see the scheme coming to life over the months ahead,” said Business Development Manager, Kim Davies.

The development will incorporate around 13,000 sq ft of retail and commercial space, helping to bring a new vitality and sense of community to the area. A new children’s play area and community café will also be provided as part of the rejuvenation of The Queen's Gardens and a 20% increase in public space will benefit the local community.

The scheme includes a range of tenancy opotions including private rent, affordable rent, Shared Ownership and London Living Rent.
